Unresponsive Touch Screen After Repair (Galaxy a5 2017)

I’ve repaired a screen on a samsung galaxy a5 and i tested it and it worked. So I added adhesive and sealed it up. but upon actually using it for more than a minute, the touch randomly became unresponsive . I reboot it, and it works, but again after 3-5 minutes the touch goes out. I’ve done this 4-5 times and it’s pretty much consistent every time.

things that might be important:

-currently no back panel on phone.

-There is a tiny gap between the frame and glass.

-Buttons remain working.

-Seems to happen after pressing power button a couple times.
