Haptic enginge rattles once and stops

Hi guys,

This is the 2nd iphone X I have seen with this problem. The vibrate function isn’t working. It makes a loud rattle sound and stops. I have replaced the taptic engine and the dock unit but still the same. The phone was lightly water damaged. Screen didn’t work what I replaced but everything else besides the vibrate function works.


My experience with repairing iPhone X is limited so I hope this doesn’t require microsoldering.
