Hi
I actually have the same issue. I just got the Lenovo Legion 5, and the FnLock lights do not turn on when I press Fn + Esc, but when I go to Lenovo Vantage and turn on the keyboard top row function, the lights do turn on and off.
Before this, I had an issue with the backlight not turning on when I press Fn + Space Bar and this issue was fixed by updating the system with a BIOS Update in Lenovo Vantage. Hopefully, a new update will come in the near future so that the lights can come back on.
Thanks.

I’m having a similar issue. I first noticed that the Fn lock indicator light wasn’t turning off when pressing Fn+Esc. I decided to check for system updates and found a BIOS update (FSCN13WW) was available. While attempting to install it, the process failed on boot with an error message saying that the BIOS was incompatible with the system. Lenovo Vantage shows that it was successfully installed, however.
After that, the Fn lock LED does not come on although the Fn lock is being activated/deactivated. Num Lock led works fine.

I had the same problem and tried searching for a solution. Try to run the LenovoUtility app. if not installed, install it from the microsoft store

I first tried installing it from the lenovo website; that did not work. . Installing the vantage app from the microsoft store fixed the problem.
