Blue/White Screen of Death?

So I got a iBook g3 from a flea market and when I got home I plugged it in and it seemed to be working well. It showed the Mac icon as if to be detecting the hard drive and in the top left corner there was a rainbow circle. Anyways, it started to fade away, And eventually turned white. So I powered it off and turned it back and I heard the chime, But the screen Was a Grey, turned into a blue, then from the middle of the screen it turned white again, So I powered it off and I turned it back on but this time I heard no chime, but the colors fading into white again. I don't know what to do so if you can help me please do.
