Touch Screen Occasionally Unresponsive After Screen Replacement

I purchased an iPad Pro 10.5 off a friend for cheap because the screen was cracked. I purchased a replacement display and swapped it out but after a week of having the new display on I have noticed the touch screen occasionally goes unresponsive. The weird thing is I’ve noticed setting it down on a table fixes the problem, if the issue occurs again on the table then picking it up from the table solves the problem. Perhaps there’s a loose connector, or do I have a faulty display?

It could be a bad connection or a defective part. Does this have the logo connections or ribbon connections? If it's the logo connections check the connections for a damaged or bent pin. Then clean the connectors with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush. Make sure that the battery is disconnected before you do any work.
