In June 2017 Apple updated its 13" MacBook Air with a newer Broadwell Intel Core i5 processor, resulting in slightly increased performance and battery life.

Sorry your display is damaged. I’m suspecting you tend to use a spray cleaner on the screen give it a couple of deep sprays getting nice and wet! Letting the cleaner drip down. Sadly thats what did you in! The liquid got to the bottom edge into the circuity located there damaging it.

Please don’t spray the screen instead spray the clean micro cloth and use it to wipe the screen.

You might be able to fix your system but its a bit tricky! You’ll need to carefully lift the bezel around the screen to get tn the LVDS connector at the bottom of it to clean the build up of dried cleaner and the corrosion. You may need to replace the LVDS cable if its damaged. Otherwise you’ll need a new display assembly MacBook Air 13" (Mid 2013-2017) Display Assembly and here’s the guide to do it MacBook Air 13" Early 2015 Display Assembly Replacement

Hi Dan!

Thanks for your answer.

I didn’t used any spray or products on screen. Usually, I clean it with dry micro cloth.

You mean, it can be a simple LVDS connector?

Corrosion within the displays connector and the cable.

Thats now a bit of a stretch given you are not using anything wet on the screen that dripped down into the circuitry. I think it's time for a new display.

Alex, how did you fix that ?

My wife's macbook air 13" have almost the same problem as you. Low hours and very few battery cycles (71). No spillage or shocks...

Sometimes screen shows some clear images through the lines, sometimes flickering...

I bought a replacement screen (complete assembly), but only be able to work on it next month...

I'm very curious about your solution.
