Printer cartridge says it’s incompatible when it’s the same number

My printer is saying that my ink cartridge isn’t compatible when it’s the same number that’s on the original cartridge

Samsung cartridges have a built-in chip to “manage” the number of prints it has made and to alert when toner gets low. Clone cartridges may miss that and become “incompatible”. I have had no problem with lower priced iCAN cartridges from Canada Computers, but had this problem with another “refill” in the past.
