Whirlpool GS6SHAXLS03 side by side. water droplets in the veggie co

I have Whirlpool GS6SHAXLS03 side by side. Until now, my freezer, although at the lowest temperature, used to freeze the sh*t out of everything. Ice Creams were made into stones. Ice cubes in less than an hour! It even used to form ice at the bottom of the refrigerator compartment to store vegetables.

The winter went by like this and unfortunately it is same as it has started to get warm. Whenever I open the freezer, I case air blowing from the vent, so fan seems to be working.

Interestingly, when the weather started to get warm, I now see water droplets in the veggie compartment and ice build up on damper assembly.

I checked seals and they surely were leaking from the top and bottom edges. I used some weather seal tape to close the gap. However, still see ice building on damper assembly almost my end of the day, that is blocking the air flow.

I can feel air starting to blow from damper assembly again after few seconds of treatment with hair dryer.

Help please. I cannot afford a new fridge now.

Hi @rbpatel ,

I've moved your comments to a new question as the iRobot doesn't seem to like long number strings at the moment and deleted your posts.

Check if the evaporator unit behind the panel in the freezer is covered in ice

If it is there may be a defrost problem -i.e. a faulty defrost heater, bi metal thermostat or even blocked drain to the evap pan below the refrigerator. The drain hole is located below the evap unit. Also check that the drain is not clogged where it comes out above the evap pan below the fridge
