The March 2015 update of Apple's 11" MacBook Air features fifth generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, resulting in slightly increased performance and battery life.

Undetectable of new SSD on MacBook air 11 (early 2015)

Hi guys, I'm trying to install a new ssd using an adaptor on a 970 Evo NVme m.2 500GB SSD to my macbook air 11 (early 2015), the disk utility did not detect the new SSD drive after I attached to it. I'm not sure what is the problem. I'm currently using OS X Catalina on my mac. Anyone can help?

I recommend using a Sintech Adaptor for the SSD as this is what I am using myself for over 1 year without any issues at all.

The SSD needs to be formatted for Mac Systems, did it not appear anywhere in disc utility?
