Logitech 510 Mouse does not transmit to computer.

The mouse does not transmit to the computer and the “invisable optic” light does not light up.

Try a new battery and check the connections on the battery and make sure the battery is facing the correct direction.

I tried that--problem is that the LED on the bottom does not light up, and I disassembled the mouse, inspected it, and can not find any obvious issues.

Thanks

Anything else you can suggest?

My guess is you need a new mouse. If none of that fixes it.

One could try re-pairing to the dongle through the Logitech Unifying Software.
And the “invisible” optic should be indeed invisible.
