A real test of knowledge, cart won’t run

So I started having problems where my cart would not start or click or anything so I replaced all the suspect parts, solenoid, carb, micro switch, even the gas pedal. And all I can get out of it is a clicking noise. Any solutions?

What was the part that caused it to go from not clicking to clicking? Also, I'm assuming the clicking you're hearing is an electric starter? I haven't worked on any golf carts but I understand that within an automotive starter there is a possibility of a bad coil winding. There are two coil windings in the starter: One coil to create a magnetic field which closes the starter circuit and subsequently opens its own circuit, shutting itself off. Another winding is supposed to pickup where the previous left off and hold the starter circuit closed to more efficiently send current to the starter to turn over the engine. It is possible that the second winding is not closing and therefor the first one is continually snapping closed and not turning over the engine. Are you sure it has enough battery power? I would first get the battery tested. If problems still arise I would inspect the battery cable that goes back to the starter. (Maybe even do this before bringing the battery in.)

@johnpollard what make, model year is your cart? Have you tried to hot-wire the starter to see if you get anything from that?
