Replaced battery after liquid damage, still does not recognize battery

I had a liquid spill on my laptop after which it stopped recognizing the battery. We replaced the battery with a replacement from iFixit, but even after doing so it still does not recognize the battery. I’ve reset the SMC and the PRAM but it had no effect. I ran a diagnostic (powered on the MacBook by holding P), and it indicated that there is no battery installed. Is there something else that I can try here, or did some board or chip get fried?

It probably means that the logic board has corroded. You’re lucky it turns on at all, take it in to a repair shop at some point and they can diagnose it.
