Repair guides and disassembly information for the MacBook Pro 16'' released in November of 2019. Model A2141, EMC 3347.

Does this article affect the MacBook Pro 16" from 2019?

I read this article this morning. And now i’m paranoid about my MacBook Pro 16” from 2019. Would this affect 2019 MacBooks? Especially the MacBook Pro 16” which i bought the other day? Or did Apple Fix it in 2018?

Many Thanks

I doubt it. The article says 2016 and later. That was the generation of MacBook Pros with butterfly keyboards. Seeing that the MacBook Pro got a redesign in 2019 with a bigger screen I think apple would have redesigned the hinge and all those connecters to the base of the machine. So while I would be still aware I think you’ll be fine.
