Macbpro freezes, fans go to overdrive

Hey guys, I looked for an answer to my problem in related branches, haven’t found what I needed.

 

I have an old mac book pro (it’s a 2.53 one) and it worked well until it stopped, which happened about 1/2  year ago (maybe after I dropped on the floor, maybe) - it randomly freezes with its fans going to max speed within about a minute of that happening (unless they were already at max speed). It doesn't respond to anything so I have to force shut it, by pressing the turn on/off button for 3 seconds.

 

I tried reinstalling the os - Yosemite on my origial HDD. Bought and installed a new SSD. Tried yosemite, then changed the os from yosemite to high sierra on the new ssd. Then, added 4gb memory (now it has 8). I cleaned the fans and the area around them. None of those things helped. I understand it's not great to shut it off the way I do, but i don't have many options + I keep the new main SSD empty, so maybe a little less damage.

 

I have a CPU monitoring tab open and notice that it can be full (ie nearly 100% loaded) and still working fine. When it freezes the tab is usually nowhere near 100% (obviously, once it freezes it can't show me a sudden jump). Normally the laptop is hot when it freezes, but again, it can be really hot and still working. If I restart it a minute after shutting it off it can freeze again rather fast. If I let it sit for a bit that can usually delay the problem. Only once did I get an error log on boot up - I pasted it at the end of my message.

 

Change your mac is perhaps an option BUT I feel like this one still does the job, it's perfectly fine for surfing. With 6 hundred something score on geekbench it's only half as good as some of 3-4 year old airs. And I had it for almost half my life -12 years, I'm 26, so it really means something to me. Why waste money on a laptop that I will hardly utilise to its fullest?

 

What could be the cause of this problem? I would really appreciate any help.
