Display screen not working even after replacement.

HI,

My sister’s mylittlepony (touchmate)tablet was smashed by my little brother. The screen cracked and the colours were black white.I got two replacement screens one for touchscreen and other for display.After trying to fix it,the display screen still shows brown black alternative colours .Please let me know any method to repair it perfectly without wasting much money
