It states there is no SIM card-emergency calls only/shuts down/restart

The phone says no SIM card-emergency calls only when there is a working SIM card in it. It shuts down and restarts constantly. What can I do to fix this?

It sounds like there could be a problem with the mother board. It also could be that there is a problem with the SIM card. Have you tried another SIM card to test it?
