How do I restore desktop applications?
iBook G4 14" running OS X Lion.

Karen, is your dock missing? If so it may be hidden. Go under the Apple in the upper left hand corner to Dock and turn off hiding.

Slightly off topic, but I don't understand how you could run OS X Lion with your iBook's Power PC processor??? Lion works only in Intel-powered Macs. Maybe your OS is really OS 10.4 Tiger?
