Elton are you saying that when you plug in the cable from the second monitor, your laptop screen stops working?

No l am saying, when l plug the laptop LCD screen on the motherboard ( that's the built in screen) the laptop won't turn on, no power lights nothing. It will do like a dead laptop, but when l remove the LCD cable(rebbon) on the motherboard, the laptop turn on and l use my HDMI cable to display to the external Monitor.

Looks a fairly straight forward job so I expect you will have success. Let us all know how it goes.

It is always nice when there is a service manual easily available as a pdf on the web. Good points to Lenovo.

If you are positive that the connector is connect correctly then you have a defective laptop screen which is shorting out the entire sytem so scrren must be replaced as so:

or

Make sure that the connector is attached firmly to the system board when installing.

The other possiblity is the BIOS needs to be reset but disconnecting the CMOS battery:

This is unlikely though as it works fine with the internal screen disconnected and connected to external monitor. But hey worth a try.

The hardware maintenance manual might help:
