Is the microphone waterproof?
Hi I have put the SIM card needle in the microphone hole of the phone, but does that make the phone not waterproof?

Most of these android phones are designed in a way that if you do shove something into a microphone port, it’s not effected.

It shouldn't interfere with the device's *water resistance. As a cellphone repair technician, these devices are not "waterproof." I really only rely on it in case of spills.
