Whirlpool GI7FVCXWY01: Bad Evap Fan in Refer Compartment Question
On Whirlpool GI7FVCXWY01 Refridge, I have a bad evap fan motor. Before replacing, everything else with Refrigerator is working fine. When I install the new Evap Fan Motor the refrigerator keeps trying to start up, but quickly shuts down and the electronic door screen cycles on and off. If I remove the evap fan from the circuit, the refrigerator works fine (but still without a refer evap fan). Any ideas? Did I get a bad evap fan motor from the supply house, or is there something else going on here? My evap fan is a 14V DC motor and when I check the supply line I am getting 14V DC to the fan motor. What cha think?
Thank you,
Tom
