Where is main microphone?

Hi,

Here’s some images taken from the ifixit Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact Disassembly video and the user manual, that shows where I think the main microphone is located.

Apologies for the small image from the user manual but it says that #12 is the main microphone

Here’s a link to a supplier of parts for the phone.

It shows that there are two microphone modules for the phone (the other is near the loudspeaker). I don’t know which module goes where but hopefully the part number is printed on the module for easy identification.

Hopefully this is of some help.

On the internet there are several replacements available but they are not marked with "main" or "second" but with "A" and "B".
So can one assume, that "A" is main and "B" is the secondary microphone?
