Can the hard drive be replaced with an SSD?
I have an Acer Aspire 3 A315-54-583z with 2 500GB hard drives. Can I replace one of them with an SSD?

Yes, there is a hidden M.2 slot for sata3 M.2 SSD 2280 under the cover, you can keep your 1tb HDD installed and add additional SSD or just install the SSD and remove your hard drive however you also can replace the hard Drivr with SATA3 SSD 2.5" plus you have the option to add the M.2 SSD as a secand driver
