Short on Logic Board between positive and ground
Hi all,
My Apple TV4 is completely dead. No light when the power cord is plugged in or anything. I dismantled the thing so warranty is also gone, but what I saw when I checked the power supply is that it is working perfectly (outputting 12V). However, when the logic board is connected, the power supply goes down to 0V. After measuring the motherboard, I saw that there is a short between the positive and negative terminal of the motherboard.
Does anybody have any idea if this is a common fault, if or how to fix it, and were a spare logic board can perhaps be found?

I have the exactly same issue, how did you get on with this? Did you find the short to earth?
Thanks Christian.
