Warranty on screen with ghost touch.
I have a iphone X and it is about 20 months old, Apple have a screen replacemt program for the iphone X when the screen has a defect (not when it have a broken glass),

I have made a apointment by Genius Bar last week but in the mean time my phone felt on its back and the rear glass is broken. Will Apple replace the screen or refuse it?
A article on the web show this text :
The waranty does not apply to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic on ports, or defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the device. If no hardware issue is present and cosmetic damage is the only reported issue, then deny a repair or replacement.

Hi. Wanted to know if you got your iPhone X display replaced by Apple?
I have the same problem. The ASP are the only option in India & are denying to replace the display stating silly reasons that it will further damage the back glass!

Yes, Apple have place a new screen under the replacement program for screens that have unresponsive area. But your phone must be without damage, no cracked back glass and front. I did put mine logicbord and unresponsive screen in a secondhand as good as new original Apple backhousing. Prior to visit Apple for replacement.
