Can I modify my old Apple power adapter (85W, MagSafe 2) to USB-C?

I am completely ignorant on what would require to modify (rewire) an old power adapter to be compatible with a newer USB-C MacBook Pro. Is it even a possibility? Can I somehow cut the cable and solder a USB-C terminal? Does this require a complex electronic circuit?

Specifically I would like to use my old MacBook Pro 85W MagSafe2 power adapter from a MPB Retina that was stolen from me as a backup charger for my new MBP 16-inch.

There is even an adapter that does this (ELECJET AnyWatt), but it is not compatible with the MBP 16-inch.

Thanks in advance.

@santivilardaga you really would not want to do that. You must need to know that the USB-C port by its specification includes the negotiation of how much power to deliver etc. and can even provide multiple voltages. Your Magsafe can’t do that. It is easily possible that it will send the wrong voltage (if it will work at all) to your MBP which would not be good for it. So you definitely should abandon this idea.
