Screen replacement not sealed

I’ve just replaced a screen and digitiser on an iPod nano 7th Gen and was retrofitting the screws to ensure it was all good. I noticed a slightly small gap all either side of the digitiser.

My only thoughts are to either glue it to seal or use the 3m tape all around. Any else experienced this? or have a solution?

with the bottom two screws in securing the display, you can ever so slightly see the digitiser frame either side

Definitely don’t use glue to seal it. Can you post some pictures to see what we’re dealing with?

It looks like the glass is separating from the assembly. Try using this to secure it. Tesa 61395 Tape This comes in handy for adhering iPad screens if you don't have replacement adhesive cutouts. Buy all the sizes or at least the 1mm for this ipod and you should be good.
