Have sound but screen is black

@lcooper36 could be an issue with either the DLP chip or the projection lamp. I’d go with a new lamp first.

I just replaced my dlp chip with a new one an i get sound with a lit black screen not sure why ive put the chip in 6 times diff kindsways still nothing everything is hooked up right what do i do the nee chip looks to be fine ???

The lamp comes on an it guves me a black screen with sound? After replaceing the dlp chip wirh a nee one cuz old one has dots everywere

i have this same issue but what happens is that when ever i turn it on, it stays normally bright for about 30 minutes and then goes dim.
so i need to turn out the lights and shut the doors before i can see images.
what can i do to fixe this?????
pls i would really appreciate a respond as soon as possible
