Both of those examples are LCD screens which are for the cheaper Moto z4 play. The original Moto z4 has an OLED screen. Make sure to look out for this because as far as I've researched, they are not compatible with each other.

@ruppertj It opens up just like the Z3, but the ribbon is on the right side. I would recommend disconnecting the battery first.

Well this was a day late and a dollar short, It would have been helpful if the cause of the screen separating from the body was caused by the battery expanding from gas build up. This did not effect the battery performance but it surly is the cause of the screen separation. This should be noted as the main cause of screen separation and the screen cannot be replaced until the battery is replaced. I wasted two screen replacement kits Z2-Force and Z4 because of the batteries had expanded. This was the cause in my Z2 and Z4 screens to separate.
