Can I replace a missing locking bar for KB connector?

Bought unit on eBay - listing said it was working one week ago. Turns out that it had been tampered with extensively - including prying the back off the LCD. The locking bar for the keyboard connector was absent. Managed to temporarily lock it with small plastic strip and got the start-up chime, possibly good logic board. Can I get / replace the locking bar? Thanks

Frankly I'd send it back. That's what the PayPal protection plan is for. You can use Kapton tape to hold the cable in place. The bar would have to come off a possibly a bad logic board but it also sounds like the case is buggered up.

Too late! I didn't get around testing the unit for more than 90 days and took it all apart. Wrote to the seller asking for most of my money back - he of course never replied.
