Apple's third-generation smartwatch, with optional cellular connectivity, released September 22, 2017.

Why is my screen black?

I just replaced the display for my Series 3 42mm Apple Watch, and it still seems to not turn on. I do not get any vibration from force restarting, would this be caused by a bad battery or flex cable perhaps?

Hello it’s very hard to say what’s the problem. The best situation should be that you check the new screen on another watch. If it turn on I should say 90% sure cables.

Watch worked few days ago? Than the battery should be fine.

It was the display connector. The display on the watch had gone black and unresponsive before the repair, and did not come back on afterward. Upon further inspection, I found that the display connector had come unsoldered from the board. I am currently awaiting a replacement connector to resolder.
