Digitizer does not work after screen replacement

I replaced screen and digitizer and it seems everything went fine. The phone turns on but the touch doesn't work, the back and all app button do work. I tried doing a factory reset but it stills doesn't work. What could be the problem?

Hi Neil,

I would suggest disconnecting and re-seating the display cable. Carefully check the connector for any debris—the pins on the connectors are tiny.

Hello Arthur,

I tried disconnecting and re-seating the display cable as you suggested but still nothing. Could it be a motherboard problem or should I send back the display+digitalizer and try with another one?

Hey Neil,

It could be a motherboard, though I'd think that the display may have a slightly higher chance of being the problem. Does the original screen work enough to be used as a test? Unfortunately with how the replacement is set up, it's not easy to swap displays.
