How do you clean the fan?

I’ve had my laptop for 4 years now and the fan is always ramped up at max, making it very loud and whinny. I have never cleaned it, but I feel like its about time I did, and get to see if that problem goes away. Thoughts?

remove the bottom cover and start cleaning, you should also replace the arctic grease behind the processor if it is the type to come out. The fan may actually need replaced. Dont use 3 in 1 oil, WD40 will only last a little while.
