Half of the touch screen not working

iPad 4 with only 1/2 of the touch screen working. I’ve replaced the digitizer with 2 working touch screens and the problem remains.

Under microscope all the ribbon connections look fine with no signs of damage or lifting.

Is it time to reball the touch ic?

Touch ic tends to affect the whole screen in my experience. I would suspect the ZIF connector more at this point even if it looks ok under microscope there’s no way to look inside it.
