Model Jura A1 the brew group motor rotates continuously.
The brew group motor rotates continuously in the same direction.
I change the encoder, but the problem persists.
What could be the problem?

Did you have the brew group apart?
I had this issue when I took the brew group apart and didn’t get the lower plunger in all the way when I assembled.

I had the same problem. I dissaembled the brew group, I disconnected all the the connectors on the motherboard, then i disassembled the brew motor. I checked the encoder who is connected to the brew motor, it’s sensible so verify the encoder is well assembled to the motor with the metal “spring”/connector. assemble the motor (assembled with encoder) then the brew group and try again.

What is the "Encoder" ? where it's located ? on the motherboard ? I have some electronics skills
I have this issue, motor rotate non stop after I unmounted this part and cleaned it. Will try your tips, thanks !

I had a same problem, took out the brew group. The plunger needs to go one step lower. it worked for me
@nikdebrauwer I think you have to revise the brewing unit. First open the device, see this video - it's a little bit tricky. The brewing unit is similar to the brewing unit of the Jura ENA mikro, see this guide. Another possibility: Bad encoder, this is the sensor that counts the rotations of the motor.
Did you find it eventually? I’m struggling with the exact same problem…
