How do I change the power button?

A couple of years ago, my phone fell and hit the floor. Since then, the power button on the left does not work - I can push it, but it’s like there’s not contact, holding down the power button does not start/turn off the phone. I’ve been using the power+volume down+middle button ever since and was wondering if my issue could be resolved.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Michal

The power button replacement is possible for this device. It’s a bit tricky to complete without soldering experience. Here is a teardown guide on how to open the device and remove the logic board.

Once completed, the power button can be de-soldered and a new one attached to the logic board. Here is what the replacement part looks like. The process is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4 power button replacement.
