Blue vertical line appears after replacing the screen

I recently purchased a screen for my galaxy S8 plus. After replacing it I switched on the phone to find a vertical line on the left side of the screen that won’t go away. I attached a photo of the display.

Any vertical line on your LCD is indication of LCD damage. This could be caused by shipping or improper installation. Either way, you should contact your parts supplier to see if the screen can be sent back and/or exchanged for another.
