No wifi after logic board swap

I got a new logic board for my early-2015 macbook pro. The original one came with 8GB, but the new board has 16gb, further exactly the same.

The wifi is not working as in when I boot with “Command + R” it gives me an error: -1005F with a globe and a triangle sign in it with an exclamation mark. So I can’t even re-install OSX as I can’t get past that error.

What I tried:

  • Reset SMC
  • Reset PRAM

To me it seems a hardware issue on the airport board or even the antenna. Or is the new board blocking my airport board?

Thanks!
