Can't save anything to external SSD from laptop.

I can’t save anything to an external ssd from my laptop. it never gives me the option to save to it or to open the device location to move files over. not sure what to do.

its a put together ssd

Does your PC recognize the external drive and add it to the other computer drives?

@vertinhol it recognizes it when i pull up devices but i cznt interact with it, only can see it properties
