An upgrade of the Nintendo Game Boy Advance, the Advance SP was released, in North America, on March 23 2004 with a square structure and clam-shell design.

Gameboy Advance SP tri wing size

Hi,

I have the IFIXIT essential electronics toolkit which contains a tri point Y000.

I’ve replaced my original nintendo gameboy advance sp shell with another one but I’m having trouble screwing the screws back in.

I also own a tri-wing screwdriver with this size: 0.6 x 25mm , which is also not working.

In this post you are talking about a #00 6.45mm and #00 4.6mm  , and im looking at these tri-wing and tri-point bits and I have no idea which tri-wing or tri-point I should buy.

As I said I have the Y0000 but it is not working on any of the tri wing screws.

@lvl21magikarp you’ll need a Tri-Point 3.0mm Y1  screwdriver for your GB

@oldturkey03 thanks, is there a difference between tri-point and tri-wing screwdrivers?
