Metal in Oil after seize

After my 1970 BMW R50/5 seized, I took off the oil pan to find it had a great lot of ferrous metal pieces in it. The bike was in great up to date shape. Is there anything in my cycle that would supply such thin metal during a seize, or was this vandalism.

@irnktn most likely will be that this comes from whichever part caused it to seize. This could be from broken piston rings to rod and main bearings. Your engine is do for a major rebuilt

Metal in your oil means broken internal parts.. If the engine seized then that would be a sign of engine failure.
