Dead critter where water flows into washer

Evidently a critter, most likely a lizard, has managed to get into my washer and crawl into the little slot where water comes into the machine. I have no idea as how to remove it! It isnt clogged inlet filters or a bad valve, this is inside the washer. Any suggestions?

Can't seem to Google an exploded view of your unit so this is just a thought. Maybe try popping the washer's lid and seeing if the mounts for the water discharge slot are visible?

Thanks, had to take the back off, take the inlet valve assembly but we got it. It was actually a mouse, how the heck it got to where he did is a true mystery! I had tried googling info as well and got help for everything but this issue.... guessing it doesnt happen very often!
