No spark, lots of new parts

Here is my dilemma. I have a kohler cv18 command pro that has no spark. I have replaced the master wire harness (because is was butchered when I bought it), engine relay, coils, plugs, stator & the battery. I can’t figure it out. The only thing I haven’t tried is replacing the starter.

Hi @ryan042204 ,

Here’s a link to the service manual for your engine, found on this webpage. (Scroll down the page to find the Kohler Command Pro Vertical Twin Service Manual CV17-CV18-CV20-CV22-CV23-CV25 CV624-CV640-CV670-CV675-CV680 CV724-CV730- CV740-CV750 entry)

If you click on the service manual link above it will download automatically to your computer.

On p.41 of the manual it details the Electronic Ignition Systems tests which may help you to find your problem

Check the wire that runs between the could packs . There's a tiny resistor in the wire . Good luck
