Extra hard drive port available on all models?

Mac mini Mid 2011

Released on July 21, 2011. Core i5 or Core i7 Processor. Thunderbolt. This unit is also used to run the Mac mini Server configuration.

Extra hard drive port available on all models?

Thank you for the wonderful teardown guide.

I have a question regarding the availability of the extra hard drive port: is this available on both mac mini non-server models, or just the higher-end model?

There is a (very special) SATA connector on the logic board, but it doesn't do anything for us as long there's no source for the required logic-board-to-SATA cable. Adding a second drive without this special cable isn't possible.
