Air 3, Does the LCD have to be replaced when replacing the screen?

I’ve searched and searched but not finding the answer for this. I ordered an a2152 replacement screen but I’m not finding any walk throughs on replacing the screen. Can just the glass be replaced or are they fused like the Pros?
