Charger Port Replacement and pulled Pads

Tried to replace a iPad air charger port, Pulled 3 pads however, Pads 3,9 and 27

soldered new port in iPad still charges, pads 3,9 & 27 are ground pads

1.) should these ground pads be connected using jumper wires? im at a loss to where to connect them

if No

does this not make the circuit open, and is it safe?

I agree with @propman , ground is there for a reason and most sensitive rails may suffer a lack of grounding. Choose the closest grounding spots you can find with your multimeter and make a couple of bridges to be on the safe side.

Never hand my hands on one of these rascals, so please take my comments with a grain of salt if you want. :-) Your unit maybe charging OK but does the connector also handle any data lines; the ground connections may come into play then if it does. For example when transferring files back and forth between a computer and your tablet. Just a thought......
