Oral B pro toothbrush humming but not moving the brush spindle.
Battery is fine. Have cleaned the whole brush and casing. When the button is pressed, the motor starts but this does not result in the spindle that operates the brush moving.
Cannot see any obvious breaks. How do I check the connection of the spindle to the motor?
Thanks
M

Still hoping to revive my old elecric Oral B toothbrush. I got an adequate replacement in London, but the one I bought more recently in New York (same model, Pro 1000, but dfferent color) is supposed to have three speeds but works, only weeks later, on only one – the strongest, loudest one. I'll have to send it to Oral B for repair or replacement. Their customer service gets poor reviews, but I'll hope for the best.
