i’m able to power it on when i plug it in and when i hold down the bluetooth button and power button it turns off . how do i get the bluetooth capability back on?

Hi,
What happens after you turn on the speaker by just pressing the power button, is the BT light on or flashing?
If the blue BT light is not on just press and hold the BT button only until the BT blue light starts flashing.
Once it does should should be able to pair it with your device.

I just had same problem and I held the negative (-) and Bluetooth buttons to restart it
