canon 600d flah wiring loom

I have removed the top casing of my 600d as per the ifixt guide(great guide). My camera was the one that you have to desolder the 4 flash connections .On reassembly, I noticed a shorter black wire in the loom that does not seem to have anywhere to connect to.Anyone know where this goes?Thanks.
