without the model number, answers can only be generalized- but for what it’s worth, replacing the control board on most of these top load models is really pretty simple. control board is located in panel on top of washer. unplug unit. remove control panel back cover (1/4 or 5/16” hex head screws). carefully pry up front of control panel by inserting putty knife under one corner, then repeat on opposite corner. now you should be able to lift the entire control panel assembly up, and lean it over on it’s face, with the backside facing upward. take a picture of the control board, to document the appropriate wiring connections, etc. disconnect wires, and the hose that detects water level/pressure. remove the screws that hold the board to the panel interior, and remove the control board. set the new board in place and reassemble in reverse order. and that’s it. bad news is that these parts are usually quite expensive. might want to make certain the problem you have is not actually some other part, first. Good Luck.
