Why did you replace the logic board? Where you thinking it was the problem?

How about telling us a bit more here. Is the fan spinning up does the keyboard caps lock light up? Where you encountering problems before? Did you get your system wet or drop your system? The more details the better.

@danj This exactly. If you have a fan spinning, connect an external display. Also, disconnect the battery, then plug the MBA in; the computer should turn on by itself. If it does not turn on by itself, use the power on jumper pads on the board to try to turn it on.

@mike_lemke The OP Macbook Air is not supposed to start on its own, as a matter of fact no C2D does that. Power pads are always needed.

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

@mike_lemke - I'm not the one with the problem ;-}

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

@danj I know you're not, but I was hoping he sees it, haha.

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

@arbaman You may be correct. I don't have to work on those often. But yes, definitely power on jumper pads should power it on.

@mike_lemke - Sometimes its better to isolate what the problem is Vs throwing answers. Which is what I was trying to do here.
